Not too short, not too long

Midi! I’ve been waiting like crazy for this to come back! I know, I know most women hate it and they are probably right since it can be unflattering but come on… seriously what can be more unflattering than a mini dress or skirt worn when your legs are less than perfect?
And if you live in Greece or even worse if God forbid you ARE Greek then chances are perfect long legs are a money /time consuming dream that you will never achive – ok, someone had to tell you the truth it might as well be me!

What I’d like to wear tomorrow
Lately I’ve seen a lot of “silky” looking shirts. Although they seem too formal to wear, when paired with jeans they look very casual and chic. And what’s more they feel soooo good :D

Cooking Mondays -- Spaghetti with vegetables

You’ll need:
Spaghetti
Onion
Sweet Red Pepper
Peas
Olive Oil
Dairy Cream
Salt
Pepper
[You can use as many vegetables as you like. Also consider using half a cup of dairy cream for half a pack of spaghetti. Olive oil: only as much needed to sauté the vegetables.]
Recipe:
Boil the spaghetti and strain them [1]. Cut the vegetables into very small cubes [2]. In a pan sauté the onion in olive oil [3], and then add the red pepper and the peas and continue for 5-10 minutes until they become soft [4]. After that, add some water, salt and pepper in the pan and boil [5] for about 20 minutes until all water is consumed by the vegetables. Then lower the heat and add the dairy cream for 3-5 minutes [6]. Pour the mixture over the pasta [7] and stir [8]. Serve grated parmesan [10].

*Please if you can help me improve my vocabulary, post a message or send me an email. It’s really hard writing a recipe. Thenx!Wednesday, September 07, 2011

Cooking Mondays-- Pork Tenderloin
Since I cook almost every day I decided to blog my recipes that actually taste good [since I’m not into cooking but nevertheless I hate eating out]. So you should probably know that most of the time I use the oven [since I’m lazy] and I try to keep my recipes as simple as possible. Also I’m not a vegetarian…

You’ll need:
Pork Tenderloin (2 large pieces)
Mustard (4-5 tablespoons)
Balsamic vinegar (1-2 tablespoons)
Red Pepper – the mild one (half or as much as you like)
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil (2-3 tablespoons)
Recipe:Put some oil in an ovenproof dish. In a bowl mix the mustard, the balsamic vinegar, some salt and pepper until they become one. Cut the tenderloin into strips and place it in the ovenproof dish, cover it with the mixture and place a piece of red pepper on top. Repeat on the other side. Cover the dish and bake in preheated oven at 150-180 degrees Celsius for 1 ½ hours at least. Good luck :)
